Orienteering is an outdoor navigation sport. Participants use a map and compass to find check points along a mapped course. It’s a sport for any age; beginners are always welcome and we provide instruction at all events. Come out and join us!

DVOA has been holding Orienteering events in various parks, nature centers and schools throughout our area since 1967. All events are open to the public and instructions are always available for beginners.

Mailbox Madness Urban Score-O in Bustleton was so much fun! There were a few other unique control locations as well, and some participants went out for a delicious lunch after the event. Don’t miss out next time… there are 3 more Mailbox Madness events coming up in February and March!
